GREELEY, Colo. -- North Dakota State won the first three matches by fall and cruised to a 37-3 wrestling victory over Northern Colorado on Sunday afternoon before a crowd of 258 fans at Butler-Hancock Hall.
NDSU’s pins came from senior Mike Fiedler at 165 pounds, senior Thad Pike at 174 pounds, and freshman Matt Hermann at 184 pounds.
Fiedler (22-6) recorded four takedowns and a pair of three point near falls before pinning Matt Archbold in the second period. Pike (22-4) needed only 1:29 of the first period to retire Alex Joseph.
