With team scores tied at 12, Royal took down Jeremy McCrank for the third time with 2:08 left in the first period. The win built an 18-12 lead for UNO (1-0 in NCC) with two matches left.
NDSU (2-3 overall, 1-1 NCC) trailed 18-15 going into the heavyweight match, but UNO's Jerry Comer sealed the team win by earning a 13-5 major decision over NDSU's David Clymer.
Cobbers drop Fergus Concordia won its last four weight classes to defeat visiting Fergus Falls Community College 31-21.
Chad Nickolas (167) and Thil Brandstetter (190) pinned their opponents, Nathan Reiff decisioned Dan Johnson 11-1 and heavyweight Charlie Nelson won by forfeit.
Jeremy Hernandez (126) and Colby Marich (150) also recorded wins for the Cobbers.
